  This was the second bank we contacted and thank goodness we did. My husband had spent the previous 3 weeks with another bank asking them how we could make a land loan work feeling like we were the only ones that wanted to make this happen. In a market where land is selling quickly many loan officers hand pick easy loans and don't want to work for the little start up families trying to build a future for their children. We could have lost the land opportunity with being jerked around for three weeks.
